Suggested Subject Headings

Exceptionalities is a concept which includes many types of exceptionalities within an academic and/or school setting. Included here would be genetic disorders (autism, down syndrome, cystic fibrosis, spinal bifida, etc.); mental illness, physical disabilities, abuse, homelessness, eating disorders (bulimia, anorexia nervosa), ADHD, Fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS) or any condition that puts an individual at risk.
