Step 1: Analyze your research topic

Choose a topic of your interest, and narrow down it. Library website provides tools to find related research materials to write your paper.

Step 2: Use appropriate search strategies

Identify keywords and their synonyms in your research topic. Use appropriate search strategy by applying Boolean Operators (AND, OR, NOT) for a effective search.

Step 3: Search the library catalogue and databases for information

Follow the path to find subject databases for related academic journal articles. Library catalogue helps you find useful books and also request books from other NEOS libraries.

Step 4: Cite the sources of information

Give credit to the original author by providing a proper reference list. A PDF citation guideline is available on the library website. Print citation manuals are also available in the library for detailed information.
